Lesson 5 – Qbox Desktop Sync

Once you have Qbox setup, the Desktop app is where you will use Qbox. As you’ll see in the video, the main thing the desktop app does, is let you know whom, if anyone, is in the file, and it keeps it locked until that person is out, and Qbox has had a chance to sync the data back up to the web, and then, in turn, back down to all other shared computers.

This makes it impossible to have conflicts, and also protects the datafile from integrity errors.
