- What do you do to keep track of all of the things you need to do?
Of course you could have the best “To Do” list solution in the world and it won’t make any difference if you don’t set aside the time to get these things done. So as far as I am concerned, a To Do list is great, but you have to use a calendar in conjunction with your To Do list. To do lists are GREAT! Create them and keep them, but eventually you have to get them done and in my experience the only way that happens is when you convert the To Do item into a calendar event. Even if it is something that only involves you and no other people, you make the appointment with yourself to get it done. We are all so busy and so bombarded with things to do that in my opinion there is literally no other way.
In the olden days we used pen and paper. We scribbled out lists and crossed things off as we got them done. Problem with that today is too much going on and too easy to lose not to mention impractical when I have so many digital options that I can access from anywhere at any time.
So how many programs are out there and which one should I use to track and manage my important To Do lists?
The simple answer is whichever one works for you. Whichever one you like. In this world of social connection on the web you will probably ask your friends. Maybe you did and that is how you wound up here?! So I will share some of my experience with this. I like video as my form of expression because most of us are visual people so with this in mind you can see exactly what it looks like, how it works, and what appeals to you.
