Ronald,
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your son Jason. I remember him as a little boy when I would come to your home and sleep over for a night to spend time with you and Meryl. He was very cute. Then I happened to be at your home when he and his wife stopped over right after their honeymoon. They were very beautiful and very happy. There is no pain as bad as losing a beloved child. I still miss Meryl and wish she were with you to help bear the pain of your loss. All my love and sympathy to you.

I didn’t really want a label to fit in, but there were times when I wanted to feel like I belonged to one group. If there was ever a time in my life when I felt like that, it was when I was working and hanging around at the Emporium. That’s where I think I got to know you. That and some of the crazy parties I used to hold at my parents house when they would go away! If those walls could talk? I’m lucky my parents no longer live in that house

I know for a fact you had a lot of people you truly cared about you and I’m suprised you wanted a lable to fit in. You are truly one of who did stand out back them, because you were you and thats why you had friends in every circle.

And just to think I asked you to my senior prom. Just so you know I would have asked no matter what lable you were. You were cool back then.

I love days like that. I used to be that kid too. I was always the one on the bottom of the food chain. Eventually, by high school, I was hanging out with my childhood buddies who were in the same boat as I was. I even hung out with the cool crowd, (after getting some extortion practiced on me by a fellow bully), and then convincing myself that if I bought this friend of mine a new pair of shoes every week, I’d be the cool kid, I was set. I was probably the dumbest kid in that lovely school. Eventually I got together with my High School crush, and my friends, (who were “actually” my friends) and enjoyed what remained of my high school career. I like the tags you set in this post Seth, they all mean something to me today.

I believe a crash course in learning to fly is given at child birth (having a child), or becoming self employed. Both are equally as invigorating, and although one seems obviously bigger than the other, I would definitely say that nothing makes you learn to fly quicker than depending on yourself to live.
