Flexibility
Off to a great start today – up at 4am and ready to go to the gym. I love planning my week on Sunday. It gives me a sense of confidence knowing I have a plan that specifically outlines what I want to get accomplished for the day. It takes the guess work out of my week and frankly cuts down on the amount of thinking I have to do. I just follow my outline always with the intention of being flexible so if something comes up I can shift things around. Then it becomes a matter for defining where I am willing to be flexible. As I discussed recently if a client who consistently takes forever to pay me asks me for time I am not so inclined to be flexible. On the other hand the clients who treat me really well will get the benefit of my flexibility.
The day was good. Without even realizing it consciously I have been spending more time getting out there and reading other people’s stuff on the web and today I met a fellow “Skyper” because she posted a blog entry about Skype – http://cherylvanornum.com/top-3-reasons-to-use-skype/. I don’t know why more people don’t use Skype! It’s really cool - the chat works really well and I actually use it to have video chats with my parents at least once a week. My mother always comments on how nice it is to be able to see my face. It’s a great tool for business, if only more people used it.
Then it was off to find a way to be useful to others and today I had arranged to pick a guy up from rehab and take him out to a meeting. It also happened that I was the speaker! It was good.
Now I need to get to sleep!

Thanks for the mention Seth! I love blogging, social media and meeting new friends! Keep rockin’!
Thanks Cheryl! There’s a lot in here, I try to keep it well organized with the categories. I am looking to connect with more people who will contribute by posting. Most of the people I know tell me they love to read what I post, but don’t feel inclined to chime in. I’m hoping to change that.
