Seth David

President:

I started out in college as a computer science major learning to program in such languages as Basic, Pascal, Cobol, Fortran, and even took a class on assembler language.  None of these languages exist anymore in their original form.  Later I left school and took a job on Wall St. as a stockbroker.  This experience lead me to become interested in Accounting (so in general could better understand what goes into the Balance Sheet of a Company).  I received my degree in Accounting from Pace University in NY.

Out of the gate I worked for a Company called United Government Services.  We planned and performed Audits for HCFA (Health Care Financing Administration).   After a few years there (in 1999) I decided it was time for a complete change - picked up and moved to California.  I commenced to start a whole new life.  I worked a couple of temp jobs and then found myself as Senior Revenue Accountant with the Veterinary Centers of America.  I met my wife there and also became an intense animal lover (we now have 3 dogs).

I started Nerd Enterprises in 2003 for a number of reasons.  The most important one was that I was not happy working for someone else.  I also came to realize that as diverse as my skills were, the only way I could find a situation where I would be able to make use of them all and help others in the process was to create that situation.  So Nerd Enterprises, Inc. was born.

Shahnaz David

President's Wife / Business Manager / Account Manager:

Shahnaz aka "Shy" was managing an animal hospital when she met Seth.  She takes that management experience with her into Nerd Enterprises, Inc. helping with client relations.

Shahnaz also handles bookkeeping clients for those who choose to have us handle their bookkeeping either remotely or by mailing in their paper work.

Finally if you are a client and your bill is past due, there is a good chance you'll be hearing from her.

Danielle Brewster

Account Manager

I have always had a passion for accounting and numbers. I began my college education in accounting at Loyola Marymount University. I excelled in my classes, yet decided to change my major from accounting to business administration after sophomore year to broaden my focus. After graduating, I worked in health management for several years, but eventually I became bored and re-discovered my passion for accounting through a side bookkeeping business. Since then, I have furthered my accounting education and look forward to obtaining my CPA certification in the future. I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients and look forward to each new day. I love my career and truly enjoy helping business owners organize their financial data to "make sense out of the numbers".

When my head is not in the books, I love spending time with my family,

traveling and appreciating life.

Stuart Treitel brings over a decade worth of experience working in the trenches of the IT corporate world to the Nerd Enterprises team.  He has worked for a diverse range of clients including the Federal Reserve Bank, the National Basketball Association, Merrill Lynch and Hoffman LaRoche, to name a few. In his spare time he does volunteer work and takes groups on outdoor adventures.
