This really applies to all social networks not just Empire Avenue.

We get a lot of e-mails from the social networks that we join and Empire Avenue is no exception. Of course you can change your settings and limit the number that you receive but with Empire Avenue I think that is a bad idea. The reason is that with Empire Avenue you want to follow up actively to keep your activity to get your dividends up and of course your share price. At the same time you don’t want those e-mails cluttering up your inbox. So I use Gmail filters to force the EAv E-mails to skip my inbox and go into a Label/Folder specifically for Empire Ave E-mails. Then when I have time later I can go back and starting with the oldest ones I can use them as a checklist to buy people back and respond to Shout Outs!
